How to Sign “Mother” in Sign Language

  1. Hand shape:  Extend your dominant hand into an open '5' shape, with fingers and thumb extended.
  2. Hand location:  Hold your thumb near your chin, fingers facing up.
  3. Movement: Tap your hand against your chin twice.
  4. Facial expression: Keep a neutral facial expression.
