Signing “Parents” (heterosexual)

Using your dominant hand in an “open 5” handshape, tap your thumb against your chin, then your forehead.

Signing “Parents” (queer/LGBTQ-friendly)

For two masculine parents: Using your dominant hand in an “open 5” handshape, tap your thumb against both sides of your forehead.

For two feminine parents: Using your dominant hand in an “open 5” handshape, tap your thumb against both sides of your chin.
